One of Taylor Swift‘s childhood dreams came true in Los Angeles last night, with some help from the one and only Jennifer Lopez.
During her last of five dates at the Staple Center, Swift rewarded the crowd with yet another special treat, after a packed week of guests like Tegan and Sara, Ellie Goulding, Cher Lloyd and Sara Bareilles.
“When I was a little girl, you know how you have your favorite song that you would just play over and over again, you’d blast it in your room? You’d sing it in front of a mirror, into a hairbrush right? You have that one favorite song, your favorite one,” Swift told the crowd.
“Los Angeles, THIS is my hair brush song,” she added, before the first notes of “Jenny From the Block” filled the arena.
Swift’s Red Tour will continue on Tuesday with a stop in Sacramento, Calif. before heading to Portland and Tacoma to wrap the month. The North American leg will finish in late September, with three consecutive shows set for her beloved Nashville, Tenn.
Swift is due in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Sunday for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. The 23-year-old superstar, who will present, is nominated for two moon men, including Video of the Year for “I Knew You Were Trouble.”
