‘Nikita’ Star Maggie Q Buys Historic $1.2M New York Estate

Maggie Q Buys NY home and sells LA home

Looks like this ass-kicking TV star is swapping coasts.

Go-to female action actress Maggie Q has said goodbye to her contemporary West Coast pad in favor of a historic country home outside charming Bedford, New York, Celebuzz has learned.

The stunning on-screen assassin splashed out over $1.2 million in April on a stunning Pound Ridge landmark known as Aaron Wood’s Mill, which served as a cider mill in the late 1700s and as a saw mill in the mid 1800s, and was renovated by American inventor Hiram Halle.

Right out of a storybook, it’s beautifully situated over a rushing stream. Inside, the barn wood estate has high hand-hewn beams, wide board floors, vaulted ceilings, and custom lighting. The main living area known as the Great Room was restored with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, stone fireplace and vintage windows.

And comes with modern amenities like the chef’s kitchen with custom cabinetry, stone counters and top of-the-line appliances.

Or go outside on the dining terrace to take in the breathtaking lake view surrounded by 2-acres of maple trees, sweeping evergreens, cascading waterfall, and wrought iron bridge over a scenic stream.

The two bedrooms include a master suite adorned with a cozy fireplace and renovated bathroom with clawfoot tub.

And back in Los Angeles, at the same time she purchased her new home in New York, the 34-year-old Mission Impossible III actress (who’ll be starring in the highly-anticipated Divergent) sold her gated modern retreat in Studio City, Calif.’s exclusive Longridge Estates for $2.1 million.

The nearly 3,000 square foot, 3-bedroom home is everything a California oasis should be – spectacular valley and canyon vistas, open floor plan, stylish d cor, walls of windows, media room and sparkling pool.

Take a tour of Maggie’s historic New York compound and recently-sold L.A. pad in the CB! gallery above.
